About Joe Dolan
Joe Dolan has been working in the entertainment industry for close to three decades. Among his many accomplishments is producing three seasons of the International web cast production "Live From The Canyon." In previous roles, Dolan was the founder of Retrospect Records and operated in publicity and artist development for hundreds of National and International artists in rock and pop culture beginning in 1989 and working into the new millennium under the JoeDolanPR name. Dolan has worked both in front of and behind the camera on both independent and feature films including Paul Sampson's Night of the Templar; the final epic of David Carradine's film career.
Born and raised in New England, Dolan began his impressive career performing regionally, then Nationally and Internationally in both recording and performing bands, appearing on stage before some of the era's top national acts and recording with legendary producer Bob St. John in Boston, MA. Joe also worked in the New England FM radio market as an on-air personality on a multitude of major market stations.
Relocating to Los Angeles in 2006, Dolan founded his Public Relations office in Studio City and immediately immersed himself in to the burgeoning modern rock culture of Hollywood. Promoting national artists with published article content and press in more than 300 magazines and to hundreds of worldwide rock-related radio station locations, Dolan became a staple on the Los Angeles performance circuit and worked developing countless shows including the first Los Angeles performance of Dennis DeYoung's solo career, broadcast by Marc Cuban's AXS-TV.
In 2014, Dolan diverted his public offering of JoeDolanPR to focus on branding video content and providing rare captures for artists to increase attention by a worldwide audience, increasing revenues and building support for touring efforts. This led to the three year relationship with booking agent and club owner Lance Sterling, allowing for the development of three seasons of the worldwide web cast "Live From The Canyon." Dolan has also produced and recorded rare video captures and memorialization of artists together both in the studio and during live performances including annual NAMM events, Brain Tichy's California MusicFest, the founding performance of the Ronnie Montrose Remembered festival and events that have raised key funding and awareness for St. Jude Childrens Hospital, TJ Martell, Disney, The Special Olympics and on the spot video and photo captures for literally thousands of artists and entertainment figures, even producing legendary captures of the annual Vans US Open Surf in Huntington Beach and once organizing the broadcast of the real Gidget's induction into the Surfer Hall Of Fame. Joe's a fan of surfing.
Outside of his professional career, Dolan enjoys raising his rescue dogs with his wife, training in Tae KwonDo and digging his toes into the sand of the Malibu surf. Dolan lives and travels from Woodland Hills, CA and can be reached directly using the information below.
